CrossControl software kit (IDL & Matlab)
CrossControl is a software kit for controlling pco camera systems and acquiring data from various high-level data evaluation languages over a computer network. Its purpose is to help building abstract and easily programmable IDL and Matlab interfaces for engineers and physicists and hiding the programming and control details of the hardware at a C server program level. The package is available for Linux and Windows systems.

A modular general purpose imaging software running natively on MacOS X. Exbem processes and analyzes images and particularly image sequences delivered by video devices or recorded movies. Already the basic package of Exbem provides a powerful still affordable framework for driving digital cameras. Image frames can be captured manually or automatically in time-lapse mode. They can be corrected and processed online in different ways and recorded into a QuickTime movie with up to 48 bit per pixel compressed or non compressed. An optionally available sequence recorder allows for recording at high frames rates. Recorded movies can then be processed offline. Additional modules can be acquired to serve specific applications.
