A fully equipped service and calibration laboratory offers test, repair, calibration and maintenance for all Photonic products and a variety of other manufacturer products sold by us. Our technical service personnel are trained in electro-optical methods and are qualified to oversee, test and calibrate products and special systems we manufacture. Calibrations
Rigid quality control systems are maintained at our facility allowing us to perform calibrations and re-calibrations traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD and foreign international standards.
NIST standards of instruments, sensors, light sources and light measuring systems for the following physical qualities are tested:
- optical power
- radiance and irradiance
- luminance and illuminance
- spectral radiance and irradiance
- chromaticity coordinates
- absolute and relative color temperature
- responsivity
- all derivative calibrations of the above
Tests and Repairs
The majority of instruments and systems sold are tested and/or repaired at our head office facility in Romulus, MI. Extensive technical support is standard company policy on all equipment sold by us.
