On-board image memory in camera head

These systems utilize novel on-board image memory in the camera head (up to 2GB), providing ultra-fast image recording at 160MB/s. These camera systems offer 1600 x 1200, 2048 x 2048 and 4032 x 2688 pixel resolutions respectively. With 1.9, 4.2 and 10.8 million pixels, these camera systems can deliver up to 33 fps at full resolution, high SNR, high contrast and high sensitivity. The camera systems feature thermo-electric cooling (down to -15ºC), and very low noise capabilities (down to 4e - rms). This is crucial to a wide variety of applications including biological imaging such as live cell/GFP, FRET, neurobiological and spectroscopy.
